# Neon in ninedot

Postgres projects across your organisations. Projects, their region and Postgres version, and each organisation's plan.

## What you get
- Projects with region and Postgres version (exact)
- Plan name per organisation (exact)

## Limits
- Neon only reports usage costs on its higher plans, so cost is left blank.
- Nothing is ever changed in Neon.

## Connecting

Key: API key. Neon keys can't be made read-only; ninedot only lists projects.
Create it at https://console.neon.tech/app/settings/api-keys, then paste it in ninedot → Vault → Neon → Connect. It is checked, encrypted at rest and only ever read by ninedot's servers.

## Questions
**Can I put a Neon database on a business in ninedot?** Yes. Connect Neon and each project appears as a database service you can link to a business, or ninedot suggests the match by name.
