# Patreon in ninedot

Membership revenue from your campaign's paying members. Your campaign and, for each member, whether they're paying, what they're entitled to and how often they're charged. Never names, emails or addresses.

## What you get
- Monthly membership revenue for the whole campaign, annual pledges spread over 12 months (exact)
- Declined payments (Patreon is retrying them) flagged on the service (live status)

## Limits
- Campaigns that charge per post have no monthly figure yet.
- Free trials and gifted memberships aren't counted.
- Patreon's fees aren't read yet.
- A pasted Creator's Access Token can do more than ninedot uses; signing in asks only to read. Nothing is ever changed in Patreon.

## Connecting

Key: Creator's Access Token. Sign in with Patreon where it's offered (read-only scopes): a pasted creator token has wider access and stops working after about a month.
Create it at https://www.patreon.com/portal/registration/register-clients, then paste it in ninedot → Connections → Patreon → Connect. It is checked, encrypted at rest and only ever read by ninedot's servers.

## Questions
**Does Patreon revenue count as proof?** Yes. It's read from Patreon, never typed, so it counts like Stripe's (ninedot's decision of 2026-10-31).
