# Railway in ninedot

## What you get
- Deploy status per service: deployed, deploying, crashed, sleeping (live status)

## Limits
- Railway's API doesn't expose dollar cost per project, so cost is left blank rather than guessed.
- Nothing is ever changed in Railway.

## Connecting

Key: Account token. Railway tokens can't be made read-only; ninedot only ever reads.
Create it at https://railway.com/account/tokens, then paste it in ninedot → Vault → Railway → Connect. It is checked, encrypted at rest and only ever read by ninedot's servers.

## Questions
**Does ninedot show Railway costs?** Not yet: Railway's public API returns usage quantities but no dollar figure, and ninedot never guesses a cost. Status and deploys are live.
