# RevenueCat in ninedot

In-app subscription revenue per app. Your project and its overview metrics: MRR, active subscriptions and trials.

## What you get
- MRR per project, as RevenueCat reports it (in USD) (measured)
- Active subscriptions and trials (measured)

## Limits
- A key belongs to one project; connect one per app.
- RevenueCat's MRR is its own figure across the app stores, in whole dollars; ninedot can't check it line by line.
- Nothing is ever changed in RevenueCat.

## Connecting

Key: Secret API key, v2 (read-only), read-only. Charts & metrics and project configuration set to read only.
Create it at https://app.revenuecat.com, then paste it in ninedot → Vault → RevenueCat → Connect. It is checked, encrypted at rest and only ever read by ninedot's servers.

## Questions
**Why is RevenueCat revenue 'measured' rather than exact?** RevenueCat works MRR out from App Store and Google Play receipts. ninedot shows its figure and says where it came from.
