# Shopify in ninedot

Store sales, without tax and refunds. Your store's name, currency and plan, and its orders from the last 30 days.

## What you get
- Sales over the last 30 days, without tax and less refunds and returns (measured)
- Orders in 30 days (measured)

## Limits
- Test, unpaid, cancelled and development-store orders aren't counted.
- Sales in other currencies are left out of the total, and the service says so.
- A store with more than 10,000 orders in 30 days shows no total yet, rather than a short one.
- Shopify's own fees and app charges aren't read.
- Nothing is ever changed in Shopify.

## Connecting

Key: Sign in with Shopify (read_orders only), read-only. Read orders only. A token from a custom app made before 2026 also works.
Create it at https://admin.shopify.com, then paste it in ninedot → Connections → Shopify → Connect. It is checked, encrypted at rest and only ever read by ninedot's servers.

## Questions
**Why sales over 30 days rather than MRR?** A store sells one order at a time, so ninedot counts what customers paid over the last 30 days, the same way it counts one-off sales elsewhere.
