What you get
- measuredSpend per workspace, last 30 days, with the last 7 days and the biggest model
Exact is read straight from Anthropic. Measured is derived from usage or a rolling 30-day window. Only those two are ever counted. Where Anthropic can't report a bill, ninedot suggests the plan's list price and you confirm what you pay. That figure counts in your own totals, marked Confirmed by you, and is never shown as verified.
Connecting takes a few minutes
- Create a Admin API keyCreated under Settings → Admin keys by an organisation admin. Create it at platform.claude.com.
- Paste it in the VaultIn ninedot, open Vault → Anthropic → Connect. The key is checked, encrypted at rest and only ever read by ninedot's servers.
- Put it on a productninedot suggests which product each service belongs to, by domain or name. Accept it in one click, or link it by hand.
Limits, honestly
- Needs an organisation Admin API key; individual accounts have no Admin API.
- Anthropic admin keys can't be limited to read-only; ninedot only calls the workspace list and cost report.
Questions
- Can I see Claude API spend per business?
- Yes. Each Anthropic workspace becomes a service with its last-30-day spend; put it on the business it belongs to and the AI spend tile shows it next to hosting and database costs.
- Can an AI agent read this too?
- Yes. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Claude Code connect through ninedot's MCP server and get the same figures with the same trust levels. Agents can never change your Anthropic account.
