Exact is read straight from Shopify. Measured is derived from usage or a rolling 30-day window. Only those two are ever counted. Where Shopify can't report a bill, ninedot suggests the plan's list price and you confirm what you pay. That figure counts in your own totals, marked Confirmed by you, and is never shown as verified.
Connecting takes a few minutes

- Paste it in ConnectionsIn ninedot, open Connections → Shopify → Connect. The key is checked, encrypted at rest and only ever read by ninedot's servers.
- Put it on a businessninedot suggests which business each service belongs to, by domain or name. Accept it in one click, or link it by hand.
Limits, honestly
- Test, unpaid, cancelled and development-store orders aren't counted.
- Sales in other currencies are left out of the total, and the service says so.
- A store with more than 10,000 orders in 30 days shows no total yet, rather than a short one.
- Shopify's own fees and app charges aren't read.
- Nothing is ever changed in Shopify.
Questions
- Why sales over 30 days rather than MRR?
- A store sells one order at a time, so ninedot counts what customers paid over the last 30 days, the same way it counts one-off sales elsewhere.
- Can an AI agent read this too?
- Yes. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Claude Code connect through ninedot's MCP server and get the same figures with the same trust levels. Agents can never change your Shopify account.
